Split PDF

Keep the pages you want, drop the rest, and rotate what is sideways.

Send pages 3 to 7 instead of the whole report. Take out the page that should not have been in there. Turn the sheet that was scanned sideways. These are the jobs an office PDF needs most often, and the ones a reader without a paid licence will not do.

If your workplace does not allow uploading internal documents, this is the difference that matters. A contract, a personnel file or an internal report cannot go to a converter that asks for it first. Here the document is opened and rewritten by your own browser, so nothing leaves the machine and there is nothing to approve.

Every page is drawn as a preview so you can pick by looking rather than by counting. Typing a range works too, and the two stay in step.

How it works

  1. Choose a PDF; each page appears as a preview.
  2. Click the pages you want, or type a range like 1-3, 7.
  3. Keep them, delete them, or save each one separately, then download.

Frequently asked questions

Is my document uploaded?

No. It is opened and rewritten in your browser with pdf-lib, and nothing is sent to Utilark. That is what makes this usable where uploading a company document to an outside service is not allowed.

Does splitting lose quality?

No. The pages are copied across as they are — the same text, images and fonts, not re-rendered. A page taken out of a 40MB report is exactly the page it was.

Does rotating actually turn the page?

Yes, and it is stored in the file rather than applied to the picture, so the text stays selectable and the file does not grow. A page already turned three quarters and rotated once more lands back at upright rather than at a full turn, which some readers ignore.

Can I reorder pages?

Not here. A selection is always read in page order, so "5-7, 1" means those four pages rather than an instruction to move page one to the end. Quietly reordering a document that someone only meant to trim is the kind of mistake that is noticed far too late.
